 Seasiders add to U23's management team

Felixstowe & Walton United are pleased to announce Tom Eagle as Joint Manager of the Under 23's alongside Ian McCormack.

Tom played for many years in the SIL and always had a desire to go into management. After a short spell for the Reserves last season, Tom decided to focus on coaching which has subsequently led to the appointment as Joint Manager of the newly created Under 23's for the 2021/22 season.

Ian commented "Tom and I will continue to work closely with Matty (Ray-Dobson) who retains his role as Assistant Manager to us. Tom is a real asset and we work together very well, having known each other for years."

Chris Daynes, Joint Chairman added "We are constantly looking to improve the pathways to aid player development and progression throughout the club. This appointment will add to the excellent coaching team the U23's already enjoy and we welcome Tom officially to the new role."

The U23's will compete in the Essex & Suffolk Border League Premier Division once again this season and fixtures will be announced in due course.
